If you have a need to access the Lift For Life^SM administrative site, please complete the following steps and email the webmaster once you've obtained your Friend's of Penn State Digital ID.

Access Administrative Site

FOR NON PENN STATE STUDENTS:

Note: Guest accounts are not needed for those who already have a PSU Access Account ID.

To add guest accounts to ANGEL:

1. Instruct your guests to log on to https://fps.psu.edu and create a Friends of Penn State account.

2. Obtain from each of your guests their FPS "Digital IDs."

3. Add the Digital IDs to your course as you would add any other user. (See Faculty Documentation -> Roster Management under Help found in the left frame of ANGEL if you do not know how to do this).

Note: You must search for Digital ID and not the guest's name when adding a guest.

4. After you have added your guests to your course your guests will be able to log on to ANGEL. If they attempt to log on prior to this time they will get a login failed message that explains that they are not yet enrolled in a course or group.

5. Upon the first login, your guest will be prompted to enter their personal information. If they do not do so at that time, then they will need to request through the help form to have their name entered for them.

FOR Lift For Life GROUP ADMINISTRATOR:

Enrolling a Non-Penn State Individual

To add a non-Penn State individual to an ANGEL course, you must request permission to do so from ANGEL administrators. Such a request may only be made by a Penn State faculty member with an existing course. To do so:

Go to your course.
Select the "Class" tab.
Select the "Edit Roster" link in the toolbar.
Select the "Add a User" link in the toolbar.
Select the "Create a Guest Account" link.
Follow the onscreen instructions you receive. Both you and the non-Penn State individual you are seeking to enroll will have to complete several steps before access is granted to the non-Penn State individual.
